Faculty of Medicine
Executive Officer II / Project Co-ordinator II (Facilities & Projects)
The appointee will work at the Finance & Development team under the Faculty and Planning Office, Faculty of Medicine. He/She may need to work on both sites of CUHK campus and Prince of Wales Hospital. Duties include (a) supporting the planning and execution of the Faculty's Redevelopment/Expansion Projects (b) liaising and collaborating with internal and external counterparts, including government departments, Hospital Authority, and contractors (c) administering facilities management and classroom booking matters (d) compiling data, reports, floor plans and meeting notes (e) handling procurement related tasks (f) providing secretarial and administrative support to committees and (g) performing other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Building Management, surveying, or related disciplines (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: (for Executive Officer II) (iii) at least 3 years post-qualification executive experience, (iii) proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English (iv) proficient in MS Excel, Word and, Chinese word-processing (v) attentiveness to details and accuracy, and a strong sense of responsibility (vi) a self-motivated team player with good problem-solving skill and (vii) excellent communication and interpersonal skill, the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Project Co-ordinator II.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
